Communication and data management

The success of the AI-ImpactSK project depends not only on the quality of its research outputs but also on how effectively these outputs are promoted and how securely the project’s data is managed. To achieve this, the project has developed a comprehensive communication strategy that integrates promotion, web presence, and data storage, as outlined in the KPB1 implementation plan. This integrated approach ensures that the project’s findings reach a broad audience while maintaining the highest standards of data security and integrity.

The project promotion strategy is designed to maximize the visibility and impact of AI-ImpactSK across a diverse range of stakeholder groups, including academic researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, and the general public. A dedicated communication plan has been established to ensure timely and effective dissemination of project updates, research findings, and best practices. Central to this strategy is the development and continuous updating of a project-specific website—a key element of the project’s web presence—which hosts open-access publications, reports, multimedia materials, and event information. This website serves as a digital hub, providing stakeholders with easy access to project resources and acting as the primary interface for online engagement.

In addition to the website, the project leverages various digital channels such as newsletters, social media platforms, and online forums to reach its target audience. Regular announcements and updates are shared through these channels, while the organization of open-access webinars and interactive events fosters real-time engagement and dialogue with the broader community. This multifaceted promotion strategy creates a continuous feedback loop, allowing the project team to refine messaging, respond to stakeholder needs, and enhance the overall impact of the project.

To ensure continuous dissemination of project progress, the leaders of ongoing work packages (KPBs) are required to prepare a brief weekly press release summarizing key developments, results, or upcoming activities within their respective work packages. These press releases should be sent to Matej Černý in KPB1, who will compile and publish them on the project’s online channels.

This structured weekly communication flow will enhance transparency, keep stakeholders informed, and reinforce the project’s impact across its target audiences.

Parallel to these promotion efforts, a robust data storage and management system is in place to handle the diverse and voluminous datasets generated throughout the project. The project employs a secure, cloud-based storage solution that complies with GDPR and other regulatory requirements. Advanced encryption protocols and strict access controls are utilized to safeguard sensitive information and ensure data confidentiality. Comprehensive data backup procedures and regular audits are implemented to prevent data loss and maintain data integrity over time. This secure storage framework not only facilitates efficient data retrieval and analysis during the project’s lifecycle but also ensures that valuable research outputs are preserved for future studies and potential replication.

In summary, the dual focus on proactive project promotion—including a strong web presence—and rigorous data storage underscores the commitment of AI-ImpactSK to both transparency and security. By effectively disseminating its findings through a well-coordinated communication strategy and by rigorously protecting its data assets, the project is well-positioned to make a lasting impact on research, policy, and industry practices. This integrated approach serves as a model for managing complex, interdisciplinary projects, ensuring that both the dissemination of results and the integrity of research data are maintained at the highest standards.
